Caravan Air Awnings

Caravan air awnings use inflatable beams instead of poles, so you can pitch quickly with a pump and pack down neatly at the end of a trip.

Caravan Air Awnings For Sale at CamperNV

Every awning in this range has been chosen with help from the same team behind Jerba Campervans, who build premium campervans every day.

Why buy an inflatable caravan awning?

Air beams remove the fiddly part of pitching. Peg out, inflate, then fine-tune the guy lines. Most models need one or two people and a few minutes, which is ideal if you tour often.

Porch or full air awnings

Air awnings come as compact porches and larger full-width rooms. Compare porch options in porch awnings and longer rooms in full touring awnings.

Keeping air beams healthy

Inflate to the pressure on the valve, release a little air on very hot afternoons, and keep the pump and spare valves in your kit bag.

Popular brands

Camptech, Sunncamp and Outdoor Revolution. Add sleeping space with awning annexes.

Measuring for the right fit

Measure from flat ground to the underside of your awning rail, roof gutter or channel, with the vehicle parked as you would on site. Compare that figure with the height range listed on each product page. If your measurement sits on the edge of a range, ask us before you order, because tyre pressure, levelling ramps and pitch slope all change the reading. Our free Awning Finder takes you through it in a couple of minutes.

Looking after your awning

Always pack your awning away dry, or open it up to air as soon as you get home. Clean fabric with water and a soft brush rather than detergent, check pegs and guy lines before each trip, and keep air beams at the pressure printed on the valve. A little care each season keeps the fabric waterproof and the seams tight for years.

Frequently asked questions

Do air awnings stand up to wind?

Well-pitched air awnings are very stable because the beams flex and recover. Peg every point and use storm straps in poor weather.

What if an air beam is damaged?

Air beams use replaceable inner bladders, so a puncture is usually a simple repair rather than a new awning.

Is delivery free?

Yes, delivery is free to UK mainland addresses. This excludes the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands.

Can you check the fit before I buy?

Yes. Send us your vehicle make, model and rail height through the free fit check, or call 0330 122 7773, and we will confirm the right size before you order.
