Drive Away Awnings For Sale at CamperNV
Every awning in this range has been chosen with help from the same team behind Jerba Campervans, who build premium campervans every day.
How a drive away awning works
The awning stands on its own frame and links to your vehicle with a connecting tunnel, using a figure-of-eight, Kador strip or clamp kit on your rail or gutter. Unclip the tunnel, zip it shut and drive away. Our guide how does a drive-away awning work explains it step by step.
Low, mid and high fits
Drive away awnings come in height bands to suit different vehicles. Low fits suit most campervans, while taller bands suit high-top vans and motorhomes. Measure your rail and match it to the range on each page.
Air or poled
Air models pitch fastest. Poled models are often lighter to carry. Both are in this range.

Measuring for the right fit
Measure from flat ground to the underside of your awning rail, roof gutter or channel, with the vehicle parked as you would on site. Compare that figure with the height range listed on each product page. If your measurement sits on the edge of a range, ask us before you order, because tyre pressure, levelling ramps and pitch slope all change the reading. Our free Awning Finder takes you through it in a couple of minutes.
Looking after your awning
Always pack your awning away dry, or open it up to air as soon as you get home. Clean fabric with water and a soft brush rather than detergent, check pegs and guy lines before each trip, and keep air beams at the pressure printed on the valve. A little care each season keeps the fabric waterproof and the seams tight for years.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need an awning rail for a drive away awning?
No. A rail is easiest, but clamp kits, suction pads and gutter fittings let you connect to most vans without one.
Can I leave a drive away awning pitched while I drive?
Yes, that is the point. Close the tunnel, and it stands on its own until you return.
Is delivery free?
Yes, delivery is free to UK mainland addresses. This excludes the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands.
Can you check the fit before I buy?
Yes. Send us your vehicle make, model and rail height through the free fit check, or call 0330 122 7773, and we will confirm the right size before you order.
