FJZ7 versus FJX
As part of the premium FJZ7 series, the 2600 uses an inverter compressor rather than the fixed-speed design of older FJX models. In practice that means a quieter cabin, lower energy consumption, adaptive cooling and no on/off temperature swings, along with integrated CleanAir purification and a heat pump. It is a complete climate solution rather than a basic cooler.
Our expert's take
Check the power side before anything else. Look at the power supply in the specifications: mains powered units need hook-up or a generator or inverter system big enough to run them, so think about where you usually stay before you choose. Have it fitted by a qualified installer.
