Thetford N4141A Slimline 3-Way Absorption Fridge Freezer
Only 418 mm wide but with 136 litres of total capacity, the Thetford N4141A is a clever fit for caravans and motorhomes where space is tight but storage needs are big. A dedicated 15 litre freezer has room for pizzas, and the silent 3-way absorption system runs on 230 V, 12 V or LPG, automatically choosing the best available source. It is tall and slim to suit standard RV heights.

How absorption cooling works
Instead of a compressor, an absorption fridge uses a heat source, either gas or electric, to circulate the refrigerant. With no moving parts it runs silently and efficiently, which is ideal in a vehicle.

An absorption fridge suits you if you mostly stay on hook-up or carry gas, and it runs very quietly, which you will appreciate at night. Have it fitted by a qualified installer with the correct ventilation and, for gas use, the correct flue. If you use the 12 V setting, remember it is really meant for while you are driving.
